Outside of my professional work, I have had the pleasure to work with a variety of small business clients on their web and SEO needs. Below are just some of the highlights from recent years that I am extremely proud to showcase.
For this project, a complete website audit and code review was performed to improve overall site quality and speed. Extensive on-page SEO improvements were made to the frontend, including updating the content hierarchy and affected HTML/CSS/JS elements that were being used incorrectly and slowing down the page.
UX + UI Design | Brand Identity | Development | SEO Strategy | WordPress
The client had asked for a simple, professional WordPress website to show case their product suite, as well as a hub for product-related downloads and firmware updates. Due to the large amount of content they had, the goal was keep the website lightweight, easy to navigate, and most importantly, easy to update.
Wireframe | UX + UI Design | Development | Drupal
The Cineplex Store Help Centre section of the website was redesigned to better reflect updated branding and mobile user experience. The old pages were very text-heavy and had extremely low user engagement, as such I added more visual elements (ie. screenshots and iconography) to add more space for the content to breathe. In addition, mobile performance on the pages were also improved to have the design adapt to different screens and load quickly and efficiently without sacrificing the visuals.
Wireframe | UX + UI Design | Iconography
In this project, I created wireframes and mockups for Citrus Bee, a design agency, based on their brand identity. Additionally, I also created a few icon illustrations for the client based on some of her favorite things. There was no development aspect for this project as the finished mockups and all design files were handed off to a developer to implement.
Northern Star Daycare
IA | Wireframe | UX + UI Design | Brand Design | Illustrations | Development | WordPress
A local daycare approached me to create a brand new website, including brand identity design and development. They provided the photos and content, in which I used to define the IA. Followed by brand identity design and wireframining. Prototypes of the major website pages were mocked up, and eventually developed and set up in WordPress.
I am here to take the confusion and stress out of creating websites.
